Ari Aronoff
is Dallas born-and-raised designer, animator, and filmmaker with a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. With a degree in Design and Production from The University of Texas at Dallas he works as a Production Artist for Instant Imprints, a locally owned print and apparel business. He also teaches saxophone at the Texas Music Lab.
Ari’s artistic journey began early, learning traditional hand-drawn animation before expanding into a wide array of creative disciplines including 3D animation, graphic and print design, video editing, screenwriting, and music. In recent years, Ari has pivoted toward filmmaking and theatre, where his storytelling instincts and collaborative spirit have flourished. He has worked alongside director Frederick Ezeala as an editor on Toska, and took on producing and acting roles in their latest film, A Moment’s Notice. This is his fifth play at The Core Theatre, others include working as crew on The 39 Steps, A Life in the Theatre, The Glass Menagerie, and playing a saxophonist in She Stoops to Conquer. Most recently, he took on acting and portrayed two characters in The Core Theatre's production of Infero: Fire at the Cocoanut Grove.
