In the span of a semester, we were individually tasked with creating a project of any kind that culminates all that we had learned over our time in school. During this time, I was diving deep into a hole of philosophy, psychology, spirituality and Buddhism and knew that I wanted to incorporate these into my project. When I had the idea to animate a film, I knew it would be an extraordinary amount of planning and work, especially since I was already busy with a full load of classes, an internship and my day job. I wanted to use more cinematic techniques, but I could see that the workload would increase to a point where I would be burnt out before the end of the semester. With this, I made the directorial decision for the film to be just one static shot with words and dynamic elements around the character.
